2. Information we handle
2-1. Information entered directly by users
- Cat name, birth date, sex, spay or neuter status, and profile photo
- Records for meals, water intake, weight, litter, vomiting, symptoms, and coughing or sneezing
- Grooming, litter replacement, play, notes, and medical records
- Schedules, recurring routines, and care reminder settings
2-2. Information created during app operation
- App language setting, selected cat, and reminder times
- Summary snapshot information for widget display
- Purchase status information used to verify and restore subscriptions
- Device and app setting information used for ad visibility control and app operation tuning
2-3. Permissions used
- Notifications: daily record reminders, schedule reminders, and care reminders
- Photos or library access: selecting a cat profile photo
- Camera access: taking a cat profile photo
3. Purpose of processing
- To store and display cat health and care records
- To calculate schedules, routines, and reminders, and send notifications
- To show today’s summary and upcoming schedules on the home screen and iOS widgets
- To verify premium subscription status and provide purchase or restore features
- To control ad visibility and adjust operational settings
- To perform features requested by the user, such as CSV export
4. Storage method and retention period
4-1. Storage inside the app
Most cat records and schedule data entered by users are stored locally on the user’s device using technologies such as SQLite and SharedPreferences.
4-2. Widget display data
Some summary data may be stored in an Apple App Group container for iOS widget display. This is used only to keep app and widget displays in sync.
4-3. Retention period
- Local record data: until the user deletes it or removes the app
- Premium or advertising-related information: according to each third-party provider’s policy
- Email inquiry information: may be retained for a reasonable period after support is completed
5. Third-party services
MyCatLog may use the following third-party services for app operation and feature delivery. Each service may process information according to its own policy.

6. Third-party sharing and cross-border transfers
MyCatLog does not sell or arbitrarily provide the cat records entered by users to third parties. However, third-party services used for ads, subscriptions, and app operation may process some information on servers located outside Korea.
- Possible overseas processors: Google, RevenueCat, Apple, and similar providers
- Transferred items: device identifiers, app setting data, purchase status information, and similar metadata
- Purpose of transfer: ad delivery, subscription verification, and app configuration delivery
7. User rights and how to exercise them
- Users can directly edit or delete some cat information and records inside the app.
- Deleting the app may also remove local data stored on the device.
- Requests about privacy handling, deletion, or policy questions can be sent to support@bn-rb.com.
8. Children’s privacy
MyCatLog is intended for general users and is not designed primarily for children. If the operator determines that a child’s personal information has been collected in violation of applicable laws, the relevant information may be deleted and other necessary measures may be taken.
9. Policy changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated due to changes in laws, service structure, or SDKs used by the app. If material changes occur, notice may be provided through the app, this web page, or other appropriate means.
