1. Purpose
These Terms of Service are intended to define the conditions of use, rights, obligations, and responsibilities related to the MyCatLog app and related services provided by BNRB (“Operator”).
2. Service scope
MyCatLog may provide the following features:
- Saving cat health and care records
- Managing schedules, recurring routines, and care reminders
- Viewing home summaries, charts, timelines, and calendar information
- CSV export
- Premium subscription features
- Additional features such as iOS widgets
3. Formation of the agreement
By downloading or starting to use the app, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms. If the user does not agree to these Terms, the user must stop using the app.
4. Paid services and subscriptions
4-1. Premium features
The Operator may provide premium subscription features inside the app.
- Removal of ads
- Use of CSV export
- Removal of the free cat registration limit
- Other paid features added by the Operator in the future
4-2. Payment and auto-renewal
- Subscription payments follow the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled separately.
- Cancellation and refunds are handled according to each store’s policy.
- Restore features work based on purchase records recognized by the store.
4-3. Pricing
Subscription pricing may vary depending on the user’s country, currency, and store policy. The amount shown in the app or store at the time of purchase prevails.
5. Medical and health notice
MyCatLog is an app intended to help users keep records and support routine health management. It does not replace diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment by a licensed veterinarian.
- Records, reminders, and charts shown in the app are reference materials only.
- In an emergency or when illness is suspected, the user should contact a veterinary clinic immediately.
- The Operator does not guarantee medical outcomes affected by input errors or interpretation differences.
6. User responsibilities
- Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter into the app.
- Users must not use the app for unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe the rights of others.
- Users must not reverse engineer, modify, or abuse the app in abnormal ways.
- Users are responsible for managing the risk of data loss caused by device loss, app deletion, OS changes, or similar events.
7. Operator rights and limitation of liability
7-1. Service changes
The Operator may change features, pricing, screens, or the scope of services in order to improve the service, respond to policy changes, or comply with legal requirements.
7-2. Limitation of liability
- The Operator does not guarantee any specific result within the scope of the free service unless otherwise required by law.
- The Operator may limit liability for damages caused by device failure, OS issues, store outages, network problems, or failures of third-party SDKs.
- The Operator may limit liability for data loss caused by user carelessness, inaccurate input, or lack of backup.
8. Intellectual property
Rights in the app, designs, logos, wording, structural elements, and content created by the Operator belong to the Operator or the legitimate rights holder. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use them commercially without prior permission.
9. Changes to the Terms
The Operator may amend these Terms when necessary. If a material change occurs, notice may be provided through the app, web documents, or other appropriate means.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute related to this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance.
11. Additional notice for iOS users
For matters not covered by these Terms in connection with the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement may also apply.
